Sims 4 Food Truck Stuff Pack
Sims can live out their culinary dreams with this functional food stand. It sells tacos, taco cups, burrito bowls and churros.
The food stand, a new type of community lot object, replaces food trucks and espresso bars from previous packs. It allows Sims to replenish their hunger while on community lots, unlike restaurants where they have to be seated.
The Anywhere Any Fare Food Stand Stuff Pack
If your Sim loves to cook but wants to turn their culinary skills into cash, the Home Chef Hustle Stuff Pack can help them do just that. It features a food stand that allows Sims to start their own street food business, and a new worktop kitchen appliance inspired by sleek European designs that’s perfect for whipping up homemade pizza recipes or heart-shaped waffles.
The pack also adds the Market Magnate Fortune aspiration, which rewards Sims with a booth boss trait that makes them more successful when selling their goods at a food stand or sale table. There are also a few new small appliances, kitchen counter designs and decor objects available in Build Mode.
Additionally, food trucks are reintroduced in this pack, which are similar to the coffee carts from Discover University and espresso bars from Get Together, but can be placed on community lots and sell a range of foods to Sims. They require a special parking space, and they move around the neighborhood during the day, so finding one can be challenging.
The Waffle Maker
Like burgers and fries, pizza and sushi, waffles are one of those comfort foods that just about everyone loves. Incorporating a good waffle maker into your commercial kitchen equipment is an easy way to add versatility and value to any menu.
This heavy, stylish machine from Sage looked promising from afar, with its sleek design and dials that adjust to your preference for doneness and texture (crispy and crunchy versus soft and light). But it didn’t live up to its looks in the test kitchen, where it produced unevenly cooked waffles and took forever to clean.
We carry models that can make two large Belgian waffles or four square ones at once, which is helpful if you entertain a lot. We also have options with ready indicator lights and a countdown timer to let you know when your waffles are finished cooking, as well as removable plates that are dishwasher-safe for easier cleanup. Whether you’re cooking for one or many, we have the best commercial waffle maker to suit your needs.
The Countertop Pizza Oven
If you want to give your food truck a more pizzeria feel, this oven is a great addition. It allows you to cook pies with a high heat that practically guarantees pizzeria-quality crispiness and flavor.
The oven also comes with several knobs to tightly control how the pie is cooked, including a timer and temperature control knob. It can preheat in 15 minutes or less and has a max heat range of 800degF. It also features an innovative U-burner that redistributes the flame evenly across its 447 square inch cooking area.
Food and drink value are major factors in dine out star rating, so making sure your dishes come out well is important. Fortunately, unlike the other factors, you can smooth things over by offering free drinks or desserts to customers who don’t enjoy their food. Skill level 1 dishes have a natural penalty to food quality, which you can offset by lowering your markup and offering lower priced items (not skill level 1). It also requires proper ventilation because it generates significant heat.
The Stand Mixer
If your Sims need to whip up a delectable cake batter or meringues, this stand mixer is sure to impress. The funky retro aesthetic looks fantastic on the countertop, and the appliance does an impressive job mixing up everything from cookie dough to frosting.
It comes with two mixing attachments: a 4-quart stainless steel bowl with small helper handles and a 5-quart clear borosilicate glass bowl that’s marked with measurements. But it’s the built-in timer that bakers are really going to love—it lets Sims set a desired baking time, then shut off automatically when that amount of time is up.
This mixer can be purchased for SS25 from the Food Truck vendor at City Hall, or directly from the lot catalog. It can be placed on community lots that have a Food Truck Parking Space, or can spawn in other spaces when a Sim requests one from the vendor (as long as the Sim has Late Night and Pets installed).
